The BAYBEATS weekend in Singapore was nothing short of fantastic. It was a BLAST!! My only regret was that I could not stay for the Sunday shows as I had to work today. I was at one stage very tempted to call in sick today so I could stay for the Sunday night acts. So I missed two great acts in kenneth Ishak and Last Days of April.
The quality of music in Baybeats was just beyond words... The sound was fantastic too. Favorite act was off course Buddhistson, they were the band that I wanted to watch most. Whence He Came was fantastic too and I'm glad that they are performing in KL this weekend. I just hope I can catch their acts after Isaac Joe in FGA. Their music just sends you into a euphoria. I'm just so amazed by the quality they have to show. It's a waste these bands can't make it big in the music world because main stream music rules.
There's so much to say about Baybeats. The organization of the whole event was so impressive. Malaysians should take a leave out of Singaporeans on how to organize big events like Baybeats. Gathering over 36 bands from all over the world to perform over 3 nights is not an easy task.
Anyway, I'll be posting some of my own pictures up soon, as soon as I can find time to edit them to smaller file sizes to upload. Up till then, read all about what you guys missed in Singapore in the official Baybeats web-site.
Next stop, Sonic Edge Festival.
