longdrawn 2 - music for the elevators

The gig, longdrawn 2 - music for the elevators was fantastic. I think it was one of the best gigs I've been to this year and it's not because my band played in it. The line-up for the night was fantastic. All the bands were good. The night most deffinately belongs to The Observatory. Their first song which is a new song just left me speechless. Their style of music is really one of a kind, some of their songs reminded me of the era of The Carpenters. I hear that it was one of Observatory's best show yet. Anyway, either than The Observatory which was expected to "take the night" away, I enjoyed This Body Broken and Furniture's set best. TBB's new stuff really sounds good. Warren on vocals is no mistake, he has that pesona to be a frontman for a band like TBB. Give him time to get over his nervousness, the next show, materials might change and he just might end up like TBB ex-front man, Hock. The last I saw Furniture play was in Baybeats and to me I enjoyed that Friday night's show better. Though Adrian said they made a lot of mistakes, but they seemed more organised and tight.

I also thought that my band had their best show yet. There was one song I was so nervous that I couldn't keep up but thank God it turned out okay. Anyway just glad her reverie was well accepted by the public that night.

Here are some shots from my not so good photo taking of the gig
