a break and moving on

The last time I felt this way was when I broke up with my girlfriend about 4 years ago. Now this break up is not easy to handle too, I actually don't know why it's so hard to handle too. Anyway, I've decided to break away from my band for various reasons, the number one being that I'll be leaving the country soon. So the time had to come and so I thought that this is a good time to break away and move on just before the new year. However, the break away seems to be harder than I thought. Guess this being my first official band that I've stuck with for sometime and coupled that this band are all my mates, guess that makes it harder. I would like to thank all my band mates for having me and putting up with all my non-sense and especially the times when I take so long to get my parts right. Thank you for the fun times and the memories I have with her reverie. I wish the band all the best and hope it goes far.

The weekend was my last time playing with the band in the Young Adults Star Awards dinner. The Star Award dinner was a blast. A lot of lovely young ladies to look at and even my table had 3 lovely young ladies. The dinner was indeed fun and the effort put in by the planning committee was nothing short of excellence. The decor and the backdrop and the lightings were simply amazing. I really had fun at the dinner. Came close to winning the Best Dress Award. According to Justin I came in second behind Alex on votes. During the catwalk for best dress, I almost did the full monty but it was a Christian event so could not do the full.... full monty. There was a special treat for us that night at the dinner. We had David and Jinji Gomes, one of Malaysia's top jazz artist performing for us at the grand finale. Their performance just blew me away, David's playing and singing with Jinji's voice.. one word sums them up... WOW!!!!!

Will post some photos from the dinner later as my camera is in the hands of Pastor Cheryl Wong who picked up my camera after I left it in Pan Pacific Hote.

I'm really looking forward to this coming YC Camp.. ALL EXCITED!!!
