love is like the wind, you can't see it but feel it...

I am not known to be a cry baby and my good friends can swear to that. But this movie did the job. It's only the second movie ever to make me cry.

I think it's such a beautiful movie. So many elements of God in it, even most of the tracks are christian tracks. I like the key phrase of the movie "love is like the wind, you can see it but you can feel it". That is so much like our relationship with God. We can't see God but we can feel God. How we feel God is how much faith we have in God and that was what the movie was trying to get at. Man, I never knew a movie on a bus ride back to Singapore would bring me to tears, esp the part when Landon reconciled with his dad and when the girl told the guy he was a God sent angel and the girl's father telling the boy that he was the miracle. I hope I can be miracles in people's life too.

Off course there is stupid elements to the movie, like tell me who on earth won't fall in love with an innocent looking Mandy Moore??? I mean if it was me, it won't take a school play to make me fall in love with her. Imagine if they put a ugly innocent girl.. than we'll see if this guy will fall in love or not and getting married at 18?? And just dated the girl for a couple of months?? And the what doesn't make sense.. the dad agreed when he was the one that hated the poor boy's heart. How just a few months can make a difference... so ridiculous lar.. but guess that's hollywood, you need some spice in the movie.

But whatever it is... still lar the movie succeeded in making an old 27 year old tear. Must be the metrosexual side of me coming out.
