a fairy tale ending

There's always a fairy tale in everyone's experience. In this case it was for Greece.

Greece started off as 300-1 to win the cup before the tournament began. But after beating Portugal in the opening, their stakes went up to 100-1, which still is a long shot for them to win. Greece winning the Euro is equal to Malaysia qualifying for World Cup. Kudos to Greece for fighting bravely in this tournament. They were rewarded for their bravery and they showed the football world that the ball is round and that anything can happen in soccer.

Before I go on, big shout to Valerie Tan and Scott Lim. Happy Birthday you two!!! Also a big shout to my 2 wonderful accountability members!! Dylan and Terry!! Happy Belated Birthday!!!

Had a few people influence me on certain things over the weekend. Some small, some big. Anyway, if you noticed that I changed my profile pic to my own picture finally. So yes, finally you see how Mark Tan looks like. Anyway most people that reads my blog already know how I look.. anyway Kristin Kreuk still might make a return one day. Anyway the reason I changed the picture is because someone asked why did I have a picture of girls on my blog and why is Kristin on my blog.. one person also said that I have high standards for a partner because I would expect my partner to be like Kristin Kreuk.. yeah.. so anyway cut long story short, did some thinking and thought time to go Kristin... yeah kind of figured that I've been idealizing her too much. Not good for the health overall. Maybe one day I would expect my life partner to look like Kristin Kreuk. That won't be good, than I'll be single all my life.

The other issue that someone made me consider about is my future. Some of you might already know that I plan to further my studies in Australia. Well actually I'm supposed to have been gone by now but because I love Malaysia and currently the love of my life FGA,Youth Church too much that I'm still here in Malaysia. Anyway, I've been doing some "uni" shopping and always think that I'll end up in Brisbane again. Brisbane has always been like a second home to me. I mean part of my life has been in that place. But thanks to dear birthday boy of today, Mr Scott Lim, he's been persuading me to go to Adelaide and thanks to his fantastic persuation that goes something like "It'll be fun, we can stay together, cook together, go to church together......" I'm actually considering Adelaide. Well, if it was Kristin Kreuk telling me that I've signed up for Adelaide Uni by now... oh darn.. there I go again... idealizing her.. sheesh..!!! But everything still unclear lar, still praying and seeking the Lord to have His will on me. I shared to the YC musicians about "inquiring of the Lord", so that's what I'm doing now, "inquiring on the Lord". So far the only good thing I can think about staying in Adelaide is the active underground music scenes. Something that can't be found in Brisbane. A lot of good Aussie bands come from Adelaide. Another happening place for it's music scene will be Melbourne. Anyway, those were just some stuff I've been thinking through this whole busy weekend. Other stuff are just too personal to write it here like the girl I like currently (actually it's no secret lar, it's still Kristin Kreuk and Siti Nurhaliza), the reason why I hate ice-cream, cakes and chocolates, why do I have a fetish for guy's underwear.... Well that's all written on my personal blog page.

One busy weekend.. weddings, birthday pot bless and birthday parties... too much to write about and I think you can read from everyone's else's blog

I want to take this time to console my darling Wang Ie Ian too. He lost his hand phone to what he describes as two "_ _ _ _ face". Hey pal.. tough luck, crap happens and I can partly identify with you. We learn from our mistakes pal. If I find that 2 Indian "_ _ _ _ face", I'll make sure I ask them to hand over the hand phone.

Hope you all have a good week ahead
