I'm sure most of you must have read about the brutal murder of Darren Kang. I just can't explain how I felt when I read about it. The guy's head was locked to a collapsible chair and the gang just beat him up. He got up to make a call and they beat him up again. I know some people said that he deserved it because he stired it first but this is no excuse to hit him until he is dead now. I heart goes out to his fiancee Vivien, seeing your fiancee get beaten up to death. I pictured that and it just sends me into a rage myself that people can be this heartless.
Now thanks to this incident, the police are suddenly patrolling night out areas more now. Why does it always that something brutal has to happen first than only the authorities do something. For example, the Canny Ong case, after her murder there's a sudden surge in security in car parks and malls. Now after a young 2nd year engage person murder, the police are doing something. Sad to see that Malaysia is still at a "Learn from Bad Experience" stage to combat unlawful acts.
My deepest deepest condolences indeed to the family and fiancee of the late Darren Kang. For his sake I hope the police really do investigate this case properly and bring the culprits to justice even if that culprit is some datuk or tan sri's son
