My brains has been on Deepavali mood and Hari Raya mood and mode since 2:30pm. Thank goodness my MD felt lazy and left at 3pm and our meeting was canceled.
It's been a grueling 3 days, knowledge transfering to Hobs. It's so so draining teaching a 37 year old kid how to run when the 37 year kid can't even crawl and take a piss by himself. It just sucks every ounce of energy that you have. Thank God there is 6 days to recover now.
It sucks to have so many things to worry and think about. Work is already so stressful and the office is like a pressure cooker now, I have so many other things to worry and emo about. Big things, small things, petty things.. the worse are worrying over something that became a mountain out of a mole hill. There was this saying my ex-classmate from secondary school came out with "Life can be a lollipop at times, it sucks". Psalm 68:19 has been carrying me through these last 2 weeks. (Thanks Debs for sharing the verse).
It's always important that when we're going through a rough and emo time that we have a particular or a range of verses that we fall back on. Phil 4:4 has always been my rock and this 2 weeks, Ps 68:19 has ministered to me.
My band her reverie will be appearing on Latte@8 on 18th November, don't know if it's confirm or not after seeing 8TV postpone and postpone and beyond postpone Altered Frequency's slot so many times. But for the moment, 18th November... do come and support and if I make a full out of myself on national TV, please lar don't throw oranges or tomatoes at me. Usually, when you're told that you're appearing on national TV you'll be screaming for joy, but I'm just feeling so mega stressed out now to feel over joyed and scared. Maybe next week it'll only don on my that my band have to go on Latte@8. Anyway, support yeah?? Maybe I can take this opportunity to finally profess my love to the girl I love over national TV. Is Latte@8 aired in Seatle, Canada??
Lastly, here's to all my Indian friends Happy Deepavali. Be prepared, be very prepared I'm coming to you house tomorrow whether you like it or not. To all my Malay friends Selamat Hari Raya. Be prepared too, I'm gate crashing your open house whether you invited me or not. To all my chinese friends, better save up for my ang pow for Chinese New Year.
