new love in my life

It's been quite a long silence. Nothing much happened.... just that fake love has finally ended and I was busy serving in the church's ladies' conference called BU. It's a far cry from the old ladies line dancing and blowing the cows horn which sounds like a cat that's going to die. I was assigned to the cafe during the 2 1/2 day event. I did a 10 hour shift in the cafe for the 1st day and did another 15 hour shift the next. My legs were like jelly after those shift. I did everything in the cafe from washing dishes to cleaning tables and floor, waitering and all the way to cleaning the deep fryer and cooking. Yes, you read it correct, the cafe lady boss actually trusted me to cook. The most time consuming and tedious was cleaning the deep fryer. Took me a good 3 hours to clean up everything and made the fryer grime free. Though it was tiring but it was good to serve. I actually enjoyed my time helping out in the cafe. One thing good about the ladies conference here, they don't attract old ladies only, there was platoons of young good looking chicks so it was great serving them their food and have them smile at me and say "Thank You".

There's a big hole in my wallet now, I told myself that I won't buy a car here because I don't need one. But, I've fallen and bought myself a car. It's nothing much, a very much downgrade from my last car, it's a 15 year old Toyota Corolla. A bit beat up but engine still sounds good and it'll take me from point A to point B. I'm not complaining, at least I've got wheels now and I do thank God that the car was rather a good deal.
