Paradise Community Church had Influencers Conference and was it a good conference. It was tiring and really power draining, but it was really all worth the effort and work. Unc. Mike was put in charge of all the drivers for the VIPS and guess who he recruited in to help him out. It was great working with Unc. Mike again on an assignments. Many goblok moments we had, including arriving at the airport late to fetch the Bishop TD Jakes to loosing the car and poor TD Jakes kuncu kuncu had to go roun the whole car park to help Unc Mike look for the car.
Although I didn't get to go in to all except one of the sessions, it was still a good experience. The session that I went into was the last session by TD Jakes and it was a timely message for me. It really spoke to me especially with the things I am going through now. It hit straight on the target and I guess it has given me more focus and optimism.
I guess the main highlight of the conference was being able to take part in the night items. There were different items for each of the 4 nights. I was prividledge to be part of the item called "Bass Off". It's like Stomp except all of us use the bass guitar. When I was first asked to be part of it I was like, are they insane? but it was great fun... I think the most fun was being able to rub shoulders with some of Adelaide best bassist. It was really fun to just jam onstage.
Here are some of the pictures from the "Bass Off" item.
Another highlight of the conference is having friends from KL over. It was great catching up with Daniel Singh, Unc Dennis, Aunty Sue, Jan Faye, Joseph Raj and off course the one and only Tan Hock Seng. It was great lar to see Daniel and Hock Seng doing stupid things in Paradise. I mean who would imagine seeing Hock and Daniel in Paradise together and seeing them making fun of the other VIP delegates.
We went on a round trip round Adelaide. Here are some pictures...
