the bus
Looks nice eh the bus, well the seats are comfortable but I had to get a seat that won't recline, so it was upright all 5 hours of the way back to Singapore. But that's not the adventure. At the Woodlands immigration, the bus actually left me there. Stupid bus driver didn't do a headcount, and just assume that after 15 minutes everyone is onboard. I couldn't help it that I was stuck behind the slowest lane to the immigration counter and that the custom's lane was equally long. So yeah, after 15 minutes the bus leaves, and a drama unfolds. Remember watching those romance story where the girl leaves on the bus and the guy chases after the bus, and furiously bangs on the door of the bus, begging the driver to let him in. That was the exact scence, except I wasn't chasing after a girl.. I was just chasing after a bus driver who left me behind.
the taxi
At the bus station, since it was late, it was about 9:45pm so thought I cut the chase and grab a cab home since I wanted to make the set of Baybeats. The line at the taxi stand was longer than the 2 MRT trains put together..I thought why was this? That I looked around, I saw taxis stopping everywhere except the frigging taxi stand. 15 minutes I waited and the line didn't even move, 1/2 hour and the line still didn't move, I really felt stupid waiting on a taxi line that wouldn't move because no taxi wanted to come up to the taxi stand because they chose to pick customers up from every other place. Talk about Singapore being a developed nation. Their taxi drivers are still 3rd world. Just like Malaysia, pick customers up from every other place except the taxi stand itself.
What a trip back
