Malaysia Boleh!!

Powergen, the young adults fellowship of Paradise Communitty Church,  just had their 1st annual Filmfest award. Filmfest is an event where all the life groups in Powergen will compete against each other for the best films. There were 5 prizes up for grabs. Best Documentary, Best Reality Show, Best Foreign Film, Best Musical Production and Best actor and there was an Overall winning film. Malaysian lifegroups here won 3 out of the 6 prizes. Ian's lifegroup won Best Foreign film with a rendition of a Bollywood dance and story. Zie won best actor award and my lifegroup which is also Sheen's,Zie's and Sun's lifegroup won best documentary with our rendition of "Foo Ling Yew - International Student's way to cutting cost" and we also won best overall film. However, we won because of popularity as we didn't expect to gain the favour of the Aussies. Ian's Bollywood production was far more better than my lifegroups. However, all in all, it was all Malaysian effort and we showed them Aussie people that we are not bunch of Stupid Asians. We showed them whiteboys!!!
